Fairhaven Toy Garden is located in Fairhaven, which is a historic district of Bellingham, Washington, located on the waters of Puget Sound. Bellingham is a city of approx. 80,000 people situated about halfway between Seattle and Vancouver, British Columbia. Being positioned between the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains, Bellingham has access to many outdoor pursuits, including mountain biking, kayaking, climbing, skiing and snowboarding, hiking, and boating on inland lakes and to the nearby San Juan Islands.

Many art galleries, museums, theatre groups, and a local symphony, as well as numerous colleges and universities all contribute to a vibrant arts culture that has caused Bellingham to be ranked second in the nation for arts businesses per capita! The beautiful historic buildings of Fairhaven are home to several of these galleries as well as a large selection of great restaurants and interesting shops, ALL of which are locally owned (chain stores are not allowed in Fairhaven), which leads to a unique shopping experience.
